An Introduction to Audience Advertising
It was a very good event and I would highly recommend it. I would advise you book early and get there early. Arriving early gives you a great opportunity to network. It’s a very popular event so there’s plenty of opportunities to meet new people. However, you only have a 30 minute window.
The event is run in Google, Gordon House right beside the spar on Barrow Street. It starts 7.30 am and the talk starts at 8 am. It’s run on the first and last Friday of the month.
The session I went to was run by Brian McCaffrey. He has a very good grasp of the material, very articulate and a great sense of humour. His talk was very informative and I learned a lot. I am looking forward to the more advanced session.
One of the things I found interesting about the talk is that you can track the behaviour of users who have bought on your website. Using this data you can then advertise to those who behave in a similar way but who haven’t found your website yet.
